Our mission was to imagine the future of Ploemeur widened city-center. The project was led in cooperation with the inhabitants. The prospective plan “Ploemeur 2030” exploits multiple assets in order to articulate the city-center urban framework with the communal natural resources, while promoting a logic of urban and landscaping intensification and exaltation. In the long run our programme plans the execution of 700 housing, 9000sqm shops, services and numerous equipments : open market hall, association offices, nursery, … The future public spaces will allow newfound shared uses : parkway that will frame the use of soft modes from city center to school and leisure facilities, big square of the historical center, creation of a garden-square at the heart of the commercial circuit … and bocage tracks leading to the Ter and coastline.
