Inserting a signage equipment

Respectful of the existing patrimony, this equipment contributes to the city-center requalification, and offers a wide forecourt towards the river and the City Hall. Built on two levels, it was sculpted so as to provide an external belvedere, a visual escape towards the historical castle. The measure and rhythm of the general volume, that of the piercings, the materials, coated, everything is worked out for a contemporary interpretation that is also respectful of the codes of vernacular architecture. The organization between the different services and the flow public/staff is optimized by its functional structure. For instance : the assembly room which is open on the square, can be managed autonomously and can welcome events for up to 90 people. The external spaces of this new public equipment invite visitors to discover the diversity of the landscapes (prairie, marsh, woods, sea-side) and of the resources of the intercommunal territory (Marbre d’Ici, a new local material). Belvederes, furniture, playgrounds and bucolic small squares will enliven these new spaces and life experience.
