The Mediacampus is implanted along the boulevard de la Prairie au Ducs and de l’Estuaire. Without being a focus landmark or a figurehead that would justify volumetric gesticulation, the block is nonetheless a major element in the building enhancement of these axis ; hence we proposed a sober and serene building, with simple and compact volumetry, and intimately linked to its environment and function. According to directions, access and its organization, the project is sculpted with a massing from FL4 to FL6. The encased voids (patios) and the openings looking out the city and the sky (terraces and loggias) are as many mutualized spaces. The horizontal organization, the generous size and quality of the collective spaces aim at stimulating actors’ interactions. Materials : structure : concrete, carpentry : lacquered aluminum, metal ironworks for exterior carpentry framework, timber planking for terraces, vegetated terraces.
