Rehabilitation of a secondary school

Dealing with what already exists

In this project of restructuration and extension we seeked to give unity to this 730-pupil school through the volumes we suggested, their materiality and expressiveness. One material – wood- leads this unifying purpose, it spreads from the foundations of the different buildings and climbs on to the gables. “Ascending movement” is an expression that symbolizes as much the evolutions of the school as the numerous references to the territory’s  twisted architecture.
